Disabling Facebook Places on your account settings

It is little tedious task to remove places information on your facebook accounts. This article share you how to disabling facebook places on your account settings. But remember if you are under 18 ages facebook will never allow you to disable it from your account so be sure to mention your right age here. Else facebook only allow your place information to access with your friends only. While if you are parent and like to know about your children’s activity so it will more helpful to customize facebook account privacy settings.


Here I will show you step by step instruction to disable facebook places, even that place that your friends already tagged.


Login to your Facebook account -> Click on Accounts – > Privacy Settings.

Then Click on Customize Settings Tab: as shown in pictures.

Then You will find similar screen as shown below :

Now Click on Places I check in to and click on customize tab, now you will find this screen.

Select Only Me option from dropdown menu. And go back


Again go the privacy Settings and then select and the select Friends can check me in to Places. For help see the screenshot.

and Click on disabled.


The very next step is to remove that user already tagged places. Go to your friends profiles -> then choose that picture or place that your friend tagged, Select Remove Tag.
